全国各地の郷土玩具から着想した干支「卯（うさぎ）」をモチーフにした玩具をパッケージにあしらった、お正月限定の「花ふきん」です。奈良の工芸「かや織」は、約1700年前に奈良に技術が伝わった「風は通すが蚊は通さない」という蚊帳（かや）に使われる目の粗い薄織物です。風通しがいいためすぐ乾く特徴を活かし、「ふきん」をつくりました。大判なので大きなお皿を包むことができ、薄手なので拭きにくい箇所もサッと水を吸いとることができます。一枚ずつ手作業でミシン掛けすることで、ほつれづらく丈夫に仕上げました。洗いを重ねるほどに、やわらかく使いやすくなります。お年賀やちょっとした手土産にぴったりです。
