HOT ! Moonlight Sonata, Moonlit Waterfalls Fused Glass Necklace, aqua blue, silver

The item listed is a fused glass necklace that was handcrafted in my studio in Washington, NJ.This necklace was created by using a combination of glass fusing techniques. The glass was cut and then a silver foil moon was placed in between the layers before heating in a kiln to fully fuse the glass. The rocky glass behind the waterfalls was cut from a piece of glass I created out of frit and clear glass.  

After firing the piece was then cut using a ring saw and sanded on a grinder. I then used different mixtures of enamel to add the bird and waterfalls. Finally, it was put in the kiln again to be fire polished in order to set the enamel and give the piece a final shineThis necklace is approximately 7/8 inch X 1 7/8 inches and includes a 18 inch silver plated snake chain. It will ship in a lovely gift box with an organza ribbon.
