HOT ! Find Your Way Compass Rose Necklace, China

This beautiful little necklace is handmade by survivors of human trafficking in China.  It features a 14k gold-plated compass pendant with a turquoise stone in the center. This minimalist piece looks great alone or layered with your other favorite necklaces.

The purchase of this necklace is equivalent to 1 week of computer classes for an exploited woman. 

14k gold-plated chain measures 16 - 18\" long, including extender chain.\"

Pendant measures approximately .25\" in diameter (this is a very small necklace).

Please note:  Each turquoise stone is unique and there will be markings that are a natural part of the stone (see photos for examples).

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This piece of jewelry is made in a fair trade cooperative in China by survivors of human trafficking.  The women have survived horrific abuse but are now living lives of freedom. They are working with an organization that provides them with a safe haven as well as healthcare, education, counseling, job training and employment.  They are learning a trade that empowers them to remain free forever from abuse.
