This is a handcrafted octagonal wooden side table inlaid with mother of pearl and various wood veneers. Tables of this kind are commonly known as Syrian or Middle Eastern inlaid tables. They are often made from high-quality woods such as walnut, rosewood, or similar dark woods, and decorated with intricate geometric patterns and arches, typical of Islamic art. The panels are set with fragments of mother of pearl, creating a shimmering mosaic effect, and the legs often feature pointed arches inspired by Moorish or Fatimid architectural motifs.
