We use salvaged Southern oak from the local urban environment. We use modern woodworking skills to elevate the knots and grain variation, then add a urethane sealer. Durable and versatile, cluster several Hyos for a coffee table. Use a pair for bedside tables. Place one in a seating arrangement to activate the space with layered, organic beauty. They are also sturdy enough to use as informal seating.
