No Metal Fasteners - We build these by hand in our shop in Michigan. In the day and age of flat pack shipping, it is no coincidence that there is no assembly required; these are solid objects that have been worked and finished by hand. There are no metal fasteners; they are pressed together with glue and wooden fasteners (dowels and floating tenons), making them strong enough to last generations. Over time, our boxes will patina like a nice leather bag.

The quality of the build is the most important aspect of our boxes. They are built to last forever; crafted by hand, onsite in Michigan. Each box is hand stamped on the inside with its own serial number. 100% Baltic birch plywood, finished simply with a coat of all-natural shellac and hand rubbed wax. This box does not open.
