A combination stone is great for its budget-friendliness and ease of storage and transport. This combination stone has #1000 and #3000 both of which are practical finishing ranges for your daily drivers.
Recommended usage: This is a soaking stone, requiring 10m+ soaking prior to usage. The main usage for this stone is for touch ups and regular maintenance of the cutting edge. The #1000 side is speedy and offers good feedback. The #3000 feels hard and creates toothy edges well. We do not generally recommend this stone for polishing wide bevels, but with lots of slurry and light pressure, an even finish can be achieved.
