Regeneration for Long-Lasting Performance

To maintain peak filtration efficiency, this system requires periodic manual salinity regeneration. The process is simple and ensures continuous nitrate removal:

1. 
   Prepare a salt solution (2-3 cups of salt per 3-4 cups of water) and stir well.


2. 
   Soak the cartridge in the solution for 1-2 hours (use a weight if needed to keep it submerged).


3. 
   Rinse and recondition by soaking the cartridge in tap water for another 1-2 hours.


4. 
   Flush with running tap water before reinstalling the cartridge.

Regeneration Frequency: Every 20-30 days, depending on nitrate levels in the water supply.
