The Carbonit NFP EM Premium 5 filter cartridge combines filtering water and revitalizing water in one cartridge. The EM ceramic is \"baked\" into the filter cartridge during production as a powder. This creates a very large contact surface with the water. Together with the proven filter performance of the Carbonit NFP Premium filter technology, the ideal water filtering results.

To produce EM ceramics, a special fired clay is used that contains organic material from plants that are millions of years old and provide food for the Effective Microorganisms (EM) during the fermentation process that lasts several months. EM ceramics have the effect, among other things, of reducing the surface tension of the water and reducing the size of the cluster structures. This restores the natural state of the water.
