The Tang Red 28 Embroidered Orchid Jade Tote is inspired by the moth orchid (蝴蝶兰), a flower long cherished in Chinese culture for its association with refined femininity, enduring love, and gentle strength, this piece unfolds like a painting in motion.

Each orchid bloom is hand-stitched thread by thread onto a backdrop of jade-blue toned cowhide leather, capturing the flower’s soft curves and poised grace. The result is a kind devotion and a surface that speaks through patience, precision, and restraint.

Design Inspiration

The moth orchid has long been admired for its ability to bloom with composure and balance. In this design, Artisan Rui made sure that the petals are translated through embroidery that flows naturally with the leather’s surface, allowing light, shadow, and texture to reveal depth over time.

The subtle contrast between the serene cream leather and the cool, jade-toned embroidery evokes harmony, hinting at a quiet dialogue between strength and softness.
