Our Andrea Pillow is crafted by a group of Mayan weavers in the remote mountains of the state of Chiapas. The intricate designs are woven on a wooden pedal loom using 100% cotton that is colored from plant based dyes. This design is distinct of this region of Southern Mexico and the weaving techniques have been passed down from generation to generation. 

This women\'s weaving cooperative works to provide access to international markets and to diversify artisanal techniques for the local artisan communities. These women work from their homes and are able to provide for their families through their traditional ancient crafts.
