The ObboMed OB-1620 StandardAir™ Mattress addresses this with alternating air pressure and gentle rotation designed to help manage pressure by redistributing weight and reducing prolonged pressure on vulnerable areas. Its low air loss system also helps remove heat and moisture to keep the skin dry.

Supportive Mattress Functions for Safer Daily Care

Its built-in seating support improves breathing and posture, and the Easy-Go Bedpan, operated by a quick release valve, allows caregivers to create a safe opening within seconds for toileting without lifting or moving the patient.

With a capacity of up to 450 lbs, the OB-1620 is suitable for a wide range of patients, helping maintain safer skin conditions and simplifying daily care.

The OB-1620 offers a manual ‘Easy-Go’ Bedpan with a Quick-Release Valve, allowing caregivers to create a safe opening for toileting within seconds.

Patented “Easy Go” Bedpan Function (Manual)

The caregiver uses the quick-release valve to deflate four air cells under the hips in about 20 seconds, creating a recessed space for a bedpan without moving the patient. After use, closing the valve reinflates the mattress.Bedpan not included.

Multiple Rotation Angles

The mattress offers rotation angles of 15° and 25° to either side. These programmed movements change the patient’s position at set intervals, reducing prolonged pressure on the same body areas.

15° Self-Lateral Rotation & Sinking Feature

The mattress uses alternating air cells to create a gentle, wave-like motion that produces a 15-degree side-to-side rotation. This movement redistributes body weight, reduces continuous pressure on the skin, and supports blood circulation.Sinking Feature with Centralization:Sinking feature lowers to 4” deep to keep patient centralized and prevent falling off bed during rotation.

Fowler & Seating Function

When the head of the bed is raised, the Fowler function boosts support in the seat and torso areas to prevent bottoming out. This helps maintain proper posture and reduces the risk of pressure injuries while seated.

Low Air Loss (LAL) Therapy

Delivering up to 15 liters of airflow per minute beneath the cover, the LAL system reduces heat and moisture on the skin surface. By maintaining a drier environment, it helps lower the risk of skin breakdown.

Cover Features
