Stone is a small stool with very simple shapes. Although its line is clean, linear and symmetrical, its surface is truly unusual: irregular, it is made up of numerous geometric facets which give rise to a particular play of colors and give it the appearance of a diamond.

Marcel Wanders graduated from the Arnhem art school in 1988, is a Dutch designer. From 1990 to 1992 he worked at Landmark Design & Consultancy, one of the most important design studios in the Netherlands. In 1992, Wanders was one of four founders of WAAC\'s Design & Consultancies, which quickly became one of the best-known design studios in the Netherlands. He worked as an independent designer and began to be recognized with the creation of the Knotted Chair produced by the Dutch collective Droog Design in 1996.
