A beautifully revived late 1930s to early 1940s silk satin slip or nightgown, hand-dyed in a soft celadon green tone.

This piece features a fluid bias-cut satin skirt with a delicate chiffon bodice panel, accented by original hand embroidery and narrow lace edging along the neckline. The silhouette skims the body with the understated elegance typical of pre-war lingerie design.

Originall Ivory. It was carefully hand-dyed to create a new life as a wearable piece while preserving its historical character. The resulting color has subtle tonal variations that highlight the texture of the silk and reflect its restoration journey.

A vintage satin ribbon has been added at the waist (not original) to allow adjustable shaping and modern styling versatility.

Condition:

• Structurally wearable


• Minor signs of age consistent with antique satin

This piece now exists as both a garment and a story — a revived heirloom intended to be worn, not hidden away.
