This vintage red velvet wiggle dress is such an iconic look, with the feeling of something Marilyn Monroe would have worn in the 1950s. Made in the late 1950s/early 1960s (pre-1963), it features a fitted cut, creating an ultra-flattering hourglass silhouette. It is nipped at the waist and fitted through the hips. No fiber contents are listed but it feels like cotton velvet. Made in the USA.
Measurements: Will best fit a size X-Small or Small, as it is, but there is room to let the bodice out a bit.
Chest: about 35\"
Waist: 27\" (with about 1\" stretch when pulled taut)
Hips: 36.5\" (with about 1\" stretch when pulled taut)
Length: 39\" from shoulder to hem (could easily be hemmed shorter, or there is room to let it out by about 5.5\")
