It is crafted using the traditional Japanese Kohiki technique, where a white slip is applied over a dark, iron-rich clay body. This process gives the surface its signature soft, warm, and slightly powdery texture, reminiscent of dusted flour. When the tealight is lit, the stove\'s opening casts a cozy glow, as if the cat is warming itself by a tiny hearth.

Use it to gently roast dried botanicals and potpourri, allowing their smokeless aroma to fill the room. The set includes the stove base and the removable cat-shaped dish.
