HOT ! Mandarin + Spice 500ml Candle

Our Mandarin & Spice candle smells of fresh mandarin, cool lemon and luscious plum, warmed by spicy hints of saffron, cumin, cinnamon and nutmeg. 

Our large candles are hand-poured into our 500ml amber jars with our signature Oré mi label and a black gloss lid.

This candle burns for up to 70 hours. 

Also, to stay true to our environmental commitments we offer you the opportunity to buy our candles with our without a lid. Which gives you the option to reuse your lid from your old Oré mi candle. 

SCENT STORY

As a child, the small, sensory things carry huge power. Growing up in Hackney, my siblings and I would always beg our mum to peel oranges for us. She had her own inimitable way of doing it, creating spirals or hexagonal shapes that I still can’t replicate now.

Citrus smells, like the mandarin which is the base of this scent, take me back to that moment in a split second. I add spices such as saffron, cumin, cinnamon and nutmeg, to give it a cosy, hearty warmth, which calls on my childhood memories.

OUR COMMITMENT

Each time an Oré mi product is purchased via our website 2.5% of the profits is given to a mental health charity focused on supporting black/brown people e.g. Black Minds Matter. 

INGREDIENTS

We use soya wax, fine fragrance oils, and cotton-core wicks in our candles. All of our candles are vegan friendly and cruelty free.

HOW TO USE CANDLE

Trim that wick! Before lighting, trim your candle wick so its no longer than 6mm.

Safety first: never leave a candle burning unattended, and don\'t burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Stop burning your candle when only 7mm of wax remains.

Once the candle\'s gone, you can reuse the jar!

Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar each burn to prevent pooling. This is especially important for our Large Candles.
