昭和初期頃まで手で裂いて、絡めて、繋いで糸にしてきた麻の生産工程。その工程を「手で績(う)む」と言う。そんな古布を現代に甦らせたいと進められたプロジェクト。
繊維が太く短いヘンプを０超極細という細さで織り上げることで、ヘンプとは思えない光沢と薄さ、柔らかさを感じることが出来ます。
