So big, bold, and chunky is this vintage Art Deco clamper style galalith bracelet, carved in the hard-to-find \'quilted\' design, circa 1930s.
Also known as French Bakelite, the deeply carved bracelet consists of a white casein plastic, and has a quilted or ‘pineapple’ style carving, with embedded metal hinge.
It measures 1&1/8 inches wide in front, and is approximately 1/2 inch thick at its thickest point, has an approximate inside circumference of 6&1/2 inches, and weighs a generous 56.2 grams.
