This 1910‘s Era, LARGE #10 Dutch Oven (835), made by Griswold, is a fantastic piece for your kitchen! This large logo slant style dutch oven was rescued from a family that had used it for years in their home. It had not been used often and was largely ignored for decades. The surfaces are beautiful and in great shape, so restoring it was a pleasure.

IMPORTANT: The lid has a rougher texture to it, likely from flash rust over the years. It has been fully restored and stripped down so there is no remaining rust. Please see pics for details.

It‘s becoming difficult to find the Dutch ovens larger than a 9, and sizes 11 through 13 are all but non-existent. So the #10 is really one of the largest you can get for soups, stews and chilis. It does not sit flat so it will spin on glass, however most Dutch ovens were not made this way. They were made to be in the oven rather than on a glass surface. Best for gas or electric range stovetops if that is your intention.
