HOT ! Cooking Pot Big

Based on Michiko’s knowledge of “The Science of Cooking”, this unique clay pot was designed in partnership with Ichishiro Nakagawa, a professional artist. This hand-crafted clay pot can be used on a gas cooktop, in an oven, and even in a microwave as special petalite clay is used to create a strong surface. (Please avoid deep frying).
You can also heat the clay pot up straight after washing and towel drying instead of leaving it to dry, which is very rare for clay pots.

When clay is heated Far infrared rays (FIRs) are produced and food needs less time to cook, less oil and seasonings are needed, and your food will taste better as it retains its natural flavor and nutrients.

The unique design of the airhole in the lid instead of in the side of the pot, enhances air circulation and decreases cooking time.

The raised bottom of the pot increases heat retention.
