Detailed information on Lakeview

Inspired by the cool summer breeze swirling off of Lake Michigan, with notes of rain water, jasmine, and citrus.

Lakeview is a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan and encompasses the historic Wrigley Field. Its name can be traced to Walter L. Newberry, the owner of the “Hotel Lake View” which, in 1853 stood near today’s Lake Shore Drive and Sheridan Road. Standing on the porch of his yet unnamed establishment and gazing toward the seemingly infinite waters to the east, Newberry immediately settled on a name for his hotel.
