Housed in a limited-edition, handcrafted Japanese porcelain box, the presentation includes an incense holder built into the lid, merging form and function. Agarwood, the unique fragrance of this resin-dense wood was discovered in 529AD on the Island of Ajawi by local dwellers when serendipitously brought near a campfire. Since that time, through constant and meticulous craftsmanship, the precious wood has been refined into inimitable scents. Its presence anchors the fragrance with a deep, resinous aroma that evokes both smoke and a singular animalistic quality analogous to leather. Patchouli exudes a deep earthiness, it is fresh yet carries a subtle sweetness with hints of warmth. Sandalwood emanates a lush, powdery scent.
