Smoky organic maitake mushrooms blended with a tangy twist of astragalus, refreshing ginger, and a soothing finish of goji berries.  A rare luscious blend rich in functionality and flavor.Maitake, meaning ‘dancing mushroom’ in Japanese, is also known as ‘hen of the woods’ in English. The first record of its medicinal use is during the Han Dynasty of China (202 BC - 220 AD.)  In feudal times, it was highly valuable and worth its weight in silver (hence, you danced when you got it!).
