Biscotti are \"twice baked\" cookies - literally they are twice baked. What does this mean? Basically after mixing the ingredients for this biscotti, it is shaped into long loaves, then baked until they are set, then allowed to cool slightly, sliced into individual cookies, and baked a second time so they become dried & crunchy to perfection. These cookies are wonderful for dunking, sharing, enjoying as a snack, dessert (try dunking in soft ice cream, it\'s delicious!). Perfect with a cup of cappuccino, milk, coffee, hot cocoa, even tea!

Each order contains 2 pounds of cookies (that\'s 18-26 cookies - generally if there\'s nuts added, that will make the dough a little bigger and there will be more cookies).  Various options for fillings, toppings & finishes available.  

Fillings are options to add nuts into biscotti dough before baking.

Toppings are an option to add on top of biscotti after cut & cooled

Finishes can only be applied to chocolate toppings.

Ingredients: flour, sugar, organic eggs, baking soda, salt, organic butter, organic Dutch process cocoa, organic vanilla extract, Ghirardelli semi sweet chocolate, plus possible additional ingredients for fillings, toppings & finishes.
