There is staining on the lace that is visible on the knots. Due to the staining/color irregularities on the knots, in some areas it looks like there is shedding/knot fallout - however, there is no shedding it is just the appearance from the color. It is not as noticeable when wearing. 

Considerations: The PU lining on this piece is a great option for someone looking to bond their topper. You can take this piece to a professional to tone the knots to avoid those areas (mentioned above) to look like there is shedding. Overall, in good condition.
