新妈妈刚生产完成的第一个月就是所谓的月子。
头2周，此阶段饮食的首要目标是在保证营养的同时，促进宫缩，将体内残余恶露(胎盘残留的淤血和组织)尽快排出体外。
饮食仍应以清补为主，重在修复，多喝些补血益气的药膳和补汤。
- 红枣，枸杞，是补气血的温和药材。
- 桂圆除了味道好，还能促进宫缩，有助于排出恶露。
- 薏米是粗粮，用来搭配煮饭或者是煮水饮用，在社区矿物质的同时，还能有显著祛湿的功效。
哺乳妈妈要吃些能促进乳汁分泌的食物，但是应注意控制食量。
而非哺乳妈妈不仅要补充足够的营养帮助身体恢复，又不能补得太多以致上火。
虽然在产后，新妈妈的胃口要比之前好了很多，但也要控制食量，绝不能暴饮暴食。
暴饮暴食只会让新妈妈的体重增加，造成肥胖，对身体恢复没有一点好处。
对于哺乳妈妈而言，如果奶水不充足，食量可以比孕期稍微增加一些，但最好不要超过1/5的量。如果新妈妈的泌乳量正常，能够满足宝宝所需，则进食量应该与孕期持平。
