The Herring George is a classic strap jodphur boot with gold buckle, full leather lining and Goodyear-welted sole. Handmade in England, the front of the vamp is fashioned from a single piece of brown waxy leather.

Jodhpur boots are the descendent of Victorian riding boots. The genuine article has a leather strap which wraps around the vamp fastening on the outboard side with a buckle. We think they’re a distinctive and dashing alternative to the more conventional chukka boot.
