  Traditionally used in France during Epiphany celebrations, 1 trinket is placed in every Galette des rois (king cake) (the cake made with puff pastry and with almond paste batter ). Whoever gets the \'fève\' is named king or queen and gets to wear a paper crown! The galette des rois, celebrating Epiphany, the day the Three Kings (les rois) visited the infant Jesus, is baked throughout January in France.
