These boots are 12 inches tall on the from the bottom of the sole to the top of the boot.  We prefer this size in Southern California as it allows us to roll the top down making it easier to get on and off and the rolled top won\'t pull the hair on your legs.

We like to flip the top section of the boot over so it doesn\'t ride so far up onto the calf when conditions are calm.  If conditions change and you need the boot to reach higher on the leg, simply un-flip the top sections back.  

When using in saltwater, it\'s best to rinse them after each use to extend the life of the boot.  Be careful not to lay heavy items on the boots or cause the boot to be folded for long periods of time as it will weaken the seams.
