We know that deciding on a Christmas tree skirt can be difficult - after all, you’ll be using it for years to come! While we do offer a 52\" tree skirt, we don’t recommend it as often, since it tends to leave a lot of empty space beneath the tree. The 52\" size is typically only ideal for narrow trees, trees tucked into tight spaces (like a foyer near stairs), or when you have a smaller or slender tree. For most trees, our 72\" tree skirt is the way to go. This size fills out the space beautifully and creates a balanced, elegant look under your tree. In fact, the 72\" skirt is our most popular size by far — and the one we use in our photoshoots! It’s perfect for larger trees or when you want a generous, full appearance. As a general rule, we suggest your tree skirt should extend 4-6” beyond the widest branches of your tree for the best proportion. And while the 52\" can work for trees taller than 8’ if they’re on the slender side, the 72\" skirt will almost always give you the most visually appealing and balanced result. We’ve found that a larger tree skirt not only complements your tree but also gives you more flexibility for displaying gifts or adding a fuller look without crowding.
