Monumental palace sized Arts and Crafts Donegal style rug measuring nearly 15 feet wide and 22 feet long. Custom bespoke rug made by Tufenkian Rugs in Nepal from unbleached, hand-knotted Tibetan highland wool. Crafted in a Donegal style decorated with intricate geometric floral designs having a golden field and a green border. Made with vibrant natural rare jewel toned color dyes that have gently faded into a lovely aged patina. The rug has a soft thick wool pile. The expansive field is decorated by  floral stylized branches with delicate floral sprays. Reminiscent to British 19th century arts and crafts designs inspired by the carpets of William Morris in the decorative arts style. Classic rug that is well suited for several styles as traditional, craftsman, bungalow, colonial, farmhouse, modern, boho, art nouveau, cabin, and rustic. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
