HOT ! Victorian Sterling Silver Moonstone Festoon Necklace

A stunning moonstone necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous necklace is comprised of a multitude of moonstone links, which hang in a festoon style from a sterling silver chain, which is comprised of small floral-motifs. Included in the design are a combination of round and teardrop-shaped moonstone cabochons that graduate slightly in size. All of the round cabochons are held within bezel-settings, and the teardrops are topped with sterling silver caps. The alluring moonstones are very clear and emit iridescent flashes of pale blue. A secure floral-motif push clasp secures the piece, and the clasp is decorated with a large round moonstone cabochon, which is held within a bezel-setting. When worn, the necklace drapes beautifully at the neckline, resting along the collarbone. Both elegant and stylish, it would look perfect worn on special occasions!
Measurements: The necklace chain measures approximately 17\" long. The longest necklace extension has a length of 2 3/4\".

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting, and all of the moonstones are intact. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is a natural patina on the sterling silver, which adds to the antique appeal of the piece.
