A lovely quality antique 9ct rolled rose gold long guard chain dating to c.1890. This example features an attractive and less commonly seen fancy fetter and ball link, giving the chain strong visual rhythm and period character. Finished with its original dog clip.
Presented in excellent condition, the links remain crisp and well defined, reflecting the quality of craftsmanship and careful preservation. This guard chain wears exceptionally well, can be worn long, doubled, or styled with a locket or pendant. A desirable Victorian piece.
