HOT ! Vintage Art Deco Silver Long Guard Chain

This is a beautiful Art Deco era long guard chain which is in excellent condition despite its age. It features trace chain with decorative textured hoops; a style popular in the inter-war period. It is getting harder to find full length long guard chains as they have often been divided with time to make smaller necklaces. Assayed in Paris and hallmarked with a boar\'s head, which guarantees between 800-900 silver purity. The hanging bolt ring can be used to clip a pendant or locket and the necklace is long enough to wrap two or three times over heard. A lovely example of Victorian silver work, it is in very good condition with links that are strong.
