The finest gauge of rope was used to create this mixed sterling silver and bronze necklace. The links have tiny knots tied in them, giving a trompe l\'oeil effect of a textile frozen in time. They come in a variety of progressive lengths to gently form a curve. Bronze is used for its sculptural heritage and warmth, and is contrasted against highlights of silver. Each piece is handmade in the Vancouver studio of Athena Theny.
