Malaia Garnet, also sometimes referred to as Malaya Garnet, is a very unique Garnet.   Because of the scarcity in which it is found and mined paired with its high demand it is considered rare and valuable.

Malaia Garnet ranges in color from light to dark, slightly pinkish orange, reddish orange, or yellowish orange. Some Malaia Garnet even color change. Our necklaces are all of the rarer color changing variety -  showing a light dusty pink hue to a ashy brown hue depending on light source.
