PROTOCOL FOR POST-PROCECURE USE OF Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30 

• 
  Initiate treatment 7-10 days after the procedure, once reepithelialization has occurred. Apply twice daily to the affected area for 90 days. 
  


• 
  Use of silicones on open wounds may cause granulomas, which is why the FDA requires all silicone scar products (Class I exempt medical devices) to state that they are not to be used on open wounds.

  For symptoms of purpura and edema following pulsed dye laser or other procedure consider using the Silagen® Arnica-Bromelain Complex supplement and SilagenR Topical Recovery Gel.
