This is an original Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, models 670 and 671, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956. This set dates to circa 1990 and has Brazilian rosewood shells. The cushions were newly redone by a master upholstery shop known for high end modern work. Both pieces have aluminum bases with polished aluminum top surfaces. This set is widely considered one of the most significant designs of the 20th century.
The lounge chair measures 32.75 inches long, 32.75 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 15 inches and an arm height of 19 inches. The ottoman measures 21.5 inches long, 26 inches wide, and is 17.25 inches tall. There are some small scuffs and marks on the base. Overall, the set is in good condition with light wear.
