This is an original C. 1988 production Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad reclining lounge chair and ottoman, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. This example features black leather upholstery, a four-star cast aluminum base, and a sling seat that affords a very comfortable lounging experience. The price listed includes both the lounge chair and the ottoman. The condition of the set overall is very good to excellent given the age, though it remains a vintage piece that will show light signs of wear and use.
The chair measures 40 inches tall, 26 inches wide and 32 inches deep. The seat height is 18 inches. The ottoman measures 20 inches tall by 21.5 inches wide and 21.5 inches deep.
