HOT ! Early 1960s Stripe Sun Dress with Pockets

Cute early 1960s vintage dress in red and white stripe crisp cotton. Has a square neckline and patch pockets edged in white eyelet lace trim.

Features a square neckline edged in white eyelet cotton lace, vertical and bust darts, rigid waistline, metal ‘Zipp’ closure to side and has two patch working pockets edged in cotton eyelet trim to front. 

Measures:

Best fit: small approx U.K. 10 but check your measurements against those of the dress below. Bust: 34 inches (goes to 36 but will be very snug - see image).Underarm seam to underarm seam: 19 inches.Shoulder to waist: 16 inches Waist: 29 inchesHips: freeLength: 38 inches (of which there’s approx 3.3 cm turn up hem fabric on the inside).The best way to check fit is to use a tape measure to measure yourself or an item from your wardrobe and check against the above. Once you have your measurements it makes buying vintage easier as standard sizes generally do not apply.Label: noneCondition: Very good with general wear. The pocket nearer the zip has a small patch just above it (see image of close up) but it’s not a glaring fix.
