Amazing true 1960s vintage Afghan patchwork hippie dress!

A true 60s hippie piece. Handmade expertly...these dresses are harder and harder to come by these days...

This lovely number is made up of tangerine orange, cherry red, navy blue and cinnamon brown fabric with dainty ditsy florals all over however, cut into wide panels...as well as worked into patchwork at the sleeves...the front bib is made up of rich sturdy antique embellishment with zig zags and cross stitching featuring purple, lilac and orange cottons stitches...also appears at each cuff. 

Single button & loop at each shoulder for access (no zipper)

Plenty of gathering gathering around the waist, front and back for extra style. 

This piece is entirely handmade and has been carefully stored away since the late 60s...a true treasure!
