HOT ! Geometrics Collection Circle No. 02 ECO Pink on Cream from Rug Star

The Geometrics Collection is an ever growing series of modern rugs emphasizing strict geometric patterns of line and shape. But often the subject of these rugs are are based on organic forms as varied as crystalline shapes and the human heart. The Geometrics also explore the interplay between these forms and material choices, such as silk, wool, and various levels of blending of the two in unexpected palette choices.

Geometrics Circle No. 02 ECO on Cream is a postmodern masterpiece of a rug. The simple repetitive pattern is accentuated by random interplay of pink and magentas of both wool and silk. The soft off white cream background becomes a balancing foil to the more dramatic colors, but possesses a depth of its own upon closer inspection. 

This rug is also part of the ECO series from Rug Star that uses leftover high quality materials from previous rug production with the aim to eliminate and reduce waste. The resulting rugs become spontaneous, one-of-a-kind expositions of color and materials. These designs can be reproduced, but the controlled chaos of the palette is unique to each piece.

Rug Star\'s Nepalese produced rugs incorporate a unique three-warps system in to each knot, which allows for not only dynamic ranges of colors being possible, but also precision control of material introduction and interplay while still on the loom. The resulting abrash (the range of subtle tones within one color) unique to this method, allow the full vision of Jürgen\'s creative vision to come to life in his designs.
