The Soft Melody rug is made from a luxurious blend of imported, long-staple New Zealand wool (50-75% of the blend) and superior local or South African wool. This unique composition results in a shinier and more lustrous finish compared to rugs made solely from local wools.

The yarn used in the Soft Melody rug is meticulously hand-carded and hand-spun into a single-ply thread, giving it a thicker and denser texture. The asymmetrical Persian-type knot adds to the rug\'s robustness and pronounced knots, creating a distinctive tactile and visual appeal.
