On sealed hardwood, the 3,100–3,900 RPM brush agitates soil from the wood grain without saturating the floor—the on-demand trigger controls water volume to prevent over-wetting on moisture-sensitive surfaces. On tile, the high-speed brush cleans grout lines more effectively than a flat mop by mechanically agitating the grout surface with the rotating bristles.
