 What is a 100% natural lavender hydrosol?

The water that passed through the lavender flower during the extraction of the essential oil of lavender from Haute Provence AOP*, by steam distillation**, is loaded with beneficial molecules of this flower.

*the quality of the hydrosol and its benefits will depend on the variety of lavender distilled. Only fine population lavender (lavandula officinalis chaix) is mentioned in the European Pharmacopoeia.

**this principle is commonly referred to as distillation or steam extraction. 

Its uses:

The hydrosol is widely used to soothe the skin, purify it and repair it. We can consider that it is essential oil in homeopathic doses, therefore perfectly tolerated by the most sensitive skin. Its use is widespread for young skin with an oily tendency, it calms and acts on imperfections.
