Costes Armchair in Ebony by Philippe Starck - Driade 2006

Philippe Starck\'s famous creation, the Costes armchair, returned in 2006 in a new ebony version. This iconic armchair marked the start of the collaboration between the talented designer and Driade in 1984, propelling him to the top of the design world. With its refined design, an enveloping wooden shell and three metal legs, the Costes armchair immediately established itself as an icon of 20th century design, sold in millions of copies, copied many times and present in all design collections contemporary.

This model is now available in two versions: the original with a mahogany shell, and this new one from 2006 in ebony. Each of them has a polyurethane foam seat cushion covered in black leather and a black steel tube base.
