The Total Length is about 15 7/8\" long (length of sticks and tassel)The stick is 9\" long black stained natural red wood.Each Tassel is about 7 1/8\" long and is comprised of 8 beads, 3 charms, a gold-tone 20mm enameled finding, 3 gold- tone 6x12mm square spiral findings, and some gold-tone chain.Beads for each tassel- Starting from the top  is a 17mm acrylic Amber puffy heart, 10mm Red with black, gold, and silver flecks round, 3 glass Amber with half luster coating 6x8mm roundel, and lastly 3 glass Red faceted cone beads.Charms- are made from Thermoplastic: One stick has the Gallant House Crest, Time Turner, and \"Where Dwell The Brave At Heart\".  The other stick has a pair of round glasses with a lightning blot above, the Deathly Hollows, and 3 Owls

I over engineer theses stakes so they don\'t catch in your hair.  What that means in detail is I counter sink the eyelet into the stick so there is no gap for your hair to get caught, for added security I E6000 the eyelet into place.  The Bobble and Stick are connected with a split-ring; basically a miniature key-ring, once again so there is no were for your hair to get caught.  And I wire wrap the beads and charms together.  All this means that your hair should not get caught in the charms.  It also means that it is very securely put together.
