A charming pair of late 19th century French Louis XV style twin beds sourced in Provence, France. Crafted from solid walnut with double caned headboards and footboards, the frames display graceful serpentine silhouettes with finely hand-carved floral and acanthus motifs throughout. The warm medium walnut finish enhances the natural grain and complements the honey tone of the original woven cane panels. Raised on cabriole legs ending in scroll toes. Structurally revised and gently waxed, preserving the original patina and texture. Very good overall condition, consistent with age and use; minor surface wear to finish and light natural variations in cane. Accommodates standard French twin (lit jumeaux) mattresses measuring approximately 74.75\" x 35.5\" — slightly narrower than a modern U.S. twin.
