This is a Kumu Chair, originally designed by Pekka Koivikko for Nikari in 2024. This particular example was produced in 2025. The chair is comprised of painted birch. Crafted with Nikari’s characteristic emphasis on natural materials and refined joinery, the Kumu Chair embodies a quiet minimalism rooted in Nordic design traditions. The chair’s name, Kumu, means echo in Finnish.

The chair measures 17.7 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide, and 31.3 inches high, with a seat height of 18.1 inches. This piece shows very light wear from previous use and overall is in very good condition. Please see photos.
